Hello, my name is Katy. I am a nature lover and an avid hiker (but I won't make you walk 500 miles during Forest Bathing). I work as a translator and a copywriter, across continents and languages. I teach Kundalini yoga and meditation at Lighthouse Yoga PDX, and I play the gong for sound healing. Many jobs, one integrated life.
My first Forest Therapy walk was here, in Portland, at Leach Botanical Garden in 2021. My friend went on a walk there and said: "You're gonna love this. It's you, it's SO you." He was right, he was SO right...
Forest Bathing was a revelation to me.
Like finding a GIANT piece of my puzzle. A practice that brought EVERYTHING together for me: people, nature, crafting with words, deep presence and sensory experience. Bridging and connecting. Like coming HOME.

And I believe the forest is OUR home, but a lot of people have forgotten that. And that's why there is so much pain, for humans and our Planet alike. Forest Therapy walks are a wonderful way to RE-MEMBER and re-establish a relationship with Nature, with ourselves, and with one another. Will you join me?
